Not too long ago I blogged about the Twitterpacks on a wiki where you can find Community Managers & Social Media people to follow.
Well Jonathan Kash has a similar project. He has a list of brands on Twitter. This includes non-profits so there’s something for everyone there. Between the two sources you can pretty much find who you need.
The most amazing brand presence on Twitter has to be Dell’s. Jonathan has built out a page showing their usage. It almost reads like an organizational chart! And note that it’s international in scope.
Have you seen any great examples of brands on Twitter? Do you have your brand on Twitter? should you?

Re: Should you have your brand on twitter?
Well, it just depends. I think that with respect to blogging and social media, you have to sit down and define what your goals are. Once you start to define your goals, you can start to determine what social media tools are best for your journey. For me, Twitter works; I like it. It’s a good broadcasting tool and it’s a great way to connect with people quickly (there’s a lot of noise too so don’t get too caught up in it).
Anyway, when you put your name out there you’re brand needs to be consistent. Don’t spam these networks with your ‘me, me, me’ advertising but be aware that what you say is an extension of your brand at all times! Be conscious of that fact.
Should you join twitter? If it works for you, sure! But remember, everything you say is an extension of your brand. So socialize, but be conscious of the fact that your delivering a brand experience every time you speak whether it’s on your blog, FB or twitter.
I wonder which portion of Dell’s audience is on twitter from a persona standpoint.
It seems like they’re investing, at least in terms of time, a lot of resource in their twitter infrastructure. Be nice to know if say for example they connect with their top 20% customers on twitter.
