The new Seth Godin … but he likes to talk about pirates rather than tribes. Everyone knows Chris Brogan & if you don’t then you really should be reading his daily contribution to the online world. Of all the blogs that I read, Chris’ writing style & topics are the most inspiring. And now he’s built a team that scales his invaluable information & delivers a great event.
Here are reasons why you need to attend his Inbound Marketing Summit (there are two more locations):
1. The socializing: Chris had a tweetup & it was fun to chat with him & his GM, Justin Levy. We brought our own group after the NewComm Forums dinner.
2. The speakers were great & offered actionable ideas. The topics were applicable to a broad audience.
3. The sessions were 45 minutes. Definitely a nice length of time!
4. It’s an excellent value for a two day conference. They’ve jam packed so many great speakers in & topics that are definitely worth your time.
5. The events not only have Chris’ stamp of approval, but he’s actively involved in it’s execution which adds to the value. I watched him & his staff ensure that attendees were having the best experience that they could provide.
If you’re wondering where to start or have started getting involved with social media, you definitely should check out one of the Inbound Marketing Summit events.
I’ve been meaning to ask Chris just when he became a skinhead. :-) Wonder what Seth would look like with a goatee. Hmmm.
