The vacation to London & Paris was phenomenal! What I love about traveling is that it changes you forever. I really missed blogging! I resorted to pen & paper on the flight home to jot some notes for future posts.
While in London we had the opportunity to meet up with 3 social media enthusiasts. Steve Bridger & Nick Booth @podnosh & @stevebridger They had attended a day long session where their prime minister addressed the 2,000 attendees & talked about the govt supporting social media.
We also had lunch with Peter Gold @petergold99 He’s also doing some interesting things with social media too. (I didn’t get a picture that day). I really enjoy meeting people on my travels!
Because I left my computer at home I relied on Twitter to update what we were doing. Today my mom said that she was directing friends & relatives to my Twitter stream. I could tell that she enjoyed the new format. She reads my blog regularly & has directed people here to see photos. (My sister & I set mom & dad up with a computer & internet access. And I use remote access to help out as needed). It’s amazing how these two tools linked us in a unique way on our journey. We only had 15 min’s/day access to the internet.
I brought home 4 gigs of photos & will get them up on Flickr soon.
Connie, it was brilliant to meet you both and from your tweeting it looks like things have moved on a lot for you since we ate together.
Good luck!
Nick
I knew I’d forgotten something; it was my camera! Glad you enjoyed China Town.
